NBA
NBA pages and JSON reads share the same source observations and coverage. Open the details below for season definitions and field meaning.
The provider workspace adds ESPN Fantasy catalogs, Sleeper NBA inventory and state, Yahoo NBA catalogs through the existing account authorization, SportsDataIO players, official NBA game observations and the dated nba_api native identity reference. Odds API, Polymarket US and Kalshi retain their own market identities and price meanings. Source-native IDs, season conventions and dated reader captures remain visible. Team roster observations cover all 30 ESPN team pages, including source-listed coaching labels.
Open NBA provider workspace →Read provider receipts JSON →Daily schedules, game box scores, standings, public team rosters, coaching assignments, player biographies and season statistics come from ESPN's public basketball feeds. Each response includes its source URL, observation time, payload hash where available, freshness status and coverage note.
Current roster coverage is separate from historical statistics. A player's current team or a coach's current assignment does not establish where they played or coached in an earlier season. Only source-identified records are linked; matching names alone never join people.
An em dash means the provider did not supply a usable value. A reported zero stays zero. Empty schedules, did-not-play rows and source failures have distinct meanings. Delayed reads retain the original observation date; unavailable reads carry no invented values.
Open ESPN NBA →A season uses its ending year: 2027 is 2026–27. Preseason (1), regular season (2), and playoffs (3) are separate. Game pages retain the period reported by the game source. The daily slate follows the US Eastern basketball calendar.
The comparison workspace measures observed production using your points rules or the nine fantasy categories. These are season statistics. Any future ranking, dynasty valuation or forecast needs separate basketball evaluation and reviewed promotion.
